Who we Are
Fighting Together to Save Lives was founded by a breast cancer survivor determined to join against the disease. Therefore, we have partnered with organizations to provide breast care information on how to receive the initial screening of a mammogram at a discounted price or intermittent free. Annually, we host events to fundraise and help our survivors with basic needs. We encourage
​all-inclusive multi-religions and
multi-ethnic members to join our community.

Mission Statement
Fighting together to save lives, our organization is dedicated to providing vital community and social support to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) breast cancer survivors. We strive to educate the BIPOC community on breast cancer awareness and survivorship. Over the past eight years, we have been deeply committed to this cause, offering community resources for mammograms, educational programs, financial support,
​and more. 

Vision Statement
Our vision is to celebrate the lives of breast cancer survivors in our community, one survivor at a time. We STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT A HIGHER SURVIVAL RATE IS ACHIEVABLE THROUGH EARLY DETECTION, WHICH CAN LEAD TO A CURE. WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING CONTINUED EDUCATION IN OUR COMMUNITY TO HELP EVERYONE UNDERSTAND THAT A DIAGNOSIS DOES NOT ALWAYS MEAN DEATH.

My Journey

My Journey & The Birth of Fighting Together to Save Lives.

Throughout my life's journey, I faced numerous health challenges. From the age of 15 to 35, I battled a series of illnesses. At 24, I was diagnosed with early-stage uterine cancer, which led to a complete hysterectomy. Over the years I also experienced lumps in my breast on four separate occasions. 

Then, at the age of 39, I received the life-al diagnosis of Stage IIIB Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. During battle with breast cancer, I felt a—a deep conviction that my fight was not just my own. While volunteering was important, I knew there more I had to do. 

A Calling to Advocate - My spiritual journey began when God it on my heart to help others fight for their lives and to my story. Through that obedience, Fighting Together to Save Lives was born. My journey was even brought to life through the stage play, "Living with Breast Cancer Through Christ." 

Our Mission: A Vehicle of Hope - Our goal is to be a source of hope and strength the community, offering critical resources to those diagnosed with breast cancer. Through our partnerships, we strive to individuals in their daily battles, ensuring they never have to fight alone 

Together, we are stronger. Together, we are saving lives.
