WE FIGHT. WE LIVE.
Faith over Fear

Who we Are
We have partnered with health organizations to provide breast health care information on how to receive the initial screening of a mammogram at a discounted price or often times free. Annually we host events during the year to fundraise to help our survivors with basic needs. We spend time as a community encouraging each other in our faith-based community as we celebrate their lives.

Mission Statement
Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate and encourage the community, men, and women to put their health first by doing monthly self-breast exams and self-chest exams. To provide resources to the community for financial help with mammograms through our health care partners, to provide education materials on breast cancer and help with basic needs.

Vision Statement
Our vision is to celebrate the lives of Breast Cancer Survivors in the community, one survivor at a time! Seeing a higher survival rate in a disease with early detection can be cured. Continued education in our community understanding a diagnosis does not always mean death.

My Journey

During my journey of life, I have experienced an abundance of illnesses. From the age of 15 to 35 . At the age of 24 I was diagnosed with early stages of uterine cancer and had to have a complete hysterectomy.  I experienced benign lumps in my breast on 4 separate occasions.

At the age of 39, I was diagnosed with stage 111B Invasive Carcinoma Breast Cancer.

During my battle with breast cancer I decided to become and advocate for the cause. I felt although volunteering was important, I knew there was more I had to do.

My spiritual journey began when God instructed me to help others fight for their life and to tell my story, and through telling that story is when; Fighting Together To Save Lives" was birth. My story was told though a stage play; "Living with Breast Cancer through Christ"!

Our goal is to be a vehicle of hope in the community and to help those diagnosed with resources in their everyday through our partnerships,
